CLEANSUI water purification system

CLEANSUI unique and advanced filtration system uses a combination of filtering mesh, non-woven fabrics, ceramics, anti-bacterial activated carbon particles, ion exchange fibre with proprietary hollow fiber membranes.

1. Ceramics

The special ceramics remove soluble lead, apart from other contaminant (Insoluble lead can be removed by Cleansui hollow fibre membrane)

2. Activated carbon

Activated carbon reduce unpleasant odors, chlorine and mold (2-MIB). It also successfully remove pesticides, herbicides, CAT, Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) such as total trihalomethanes (chloroform, bromodichloromethane, dibromochloromethane, bromoform), tetrachloroethylene, tricholoethylene,1,1,1-trichloroethane etc

3. Hollow Fiber membrane

The heart of CLEANSUI, made of ultra-fine polyethylene, the sidewalls trap minute particles, turbidity in water and eliminate bacteria, micro organism (eg gardia, protozoa, cysts) cyprosporidium, algae, fungi, metal particles such as rust, lead etc.

The microporous hollow fiber membrane is a sophisticated filter developed by Mitsubishi Chemical macromolecular chemical technology, Each hollow fiber membrane has a macaroni-shaped cross section,with millions of pores on the sidewall. It can remove minute particles 0.01-0.1 micron in tap water

	Chloroform, Bromodichloromethane Dibromochloromethane Bromoform	A bi-product of Chlorination One of the Trihalomethanes, suspected of being carcinogenic - Related to higher incidences of cancer of the colon, stomach, bladder and rectum

	1,1,1-trichloroethane	Suspected to harm liver, nervous system and cause circulatory problems. Widely used as a cleaning solvent for electrical equipment as a solvent for adhesives, coatings and textile dyes, and as a coolant and lubricant.
	Benzene	A Chemical widely used in synthetic materials such as dyes, synthetic rubber, synthetic detergents, and organic pigments; it is classified as a possible carcinogen and may pose health risks with prolonged or excessive exposure.
	Anionic surfactant	Commonly found in synthetic detergents and cleaning products, can dissolve into water, potentially affecting its taste. Prolonged exposure to water containing these substances may pose health concerns.
	Phenols	Sometimes enter the water supplies through wastewater from gasworks and chemical plants. When they react with chlorine, they may produce an unpleasant odor and affect the water’s taste.
	Geosmin	A natural compound responsible for a musty, earthy odor that can affect the taste and smell of water.
	PFOS/PFOA, Iron, Aluminum	+ 3 substances removed: PFOS/PFOA; can lead to health risks such as increased cholesterol levels, liver and kidney issues, immune system suppression, and possibly links to cancer. These chemicals can accumulate in the body over time, posing long-term health concerns. Iron (Fine Particles); Mainly from iron water pipes. May turn water brown and affect the taste. Aluminum (Neutral); used in water purification as an aluminum-based flocculant.
